Pieter-Steph du Toit is a Springbok rugby player whose family farms just around the corner from Goedgedacht. He has supported us in the past with donations of clothes and rugby kit for our children and last week we received a phone call to say he has nominated us to received prize money on his behalf. We could now believe this!
On Monday last week he was named SA Rugby’s Player of the Year. Part of this special title is prize money of R10 000. He chose the Goedgedacht Trust, and more specifically our POP Centre on the farm, as the charity to receive this donation!
This is an incredible donation which will really go a long way to help our Centre on the farm. This is also the Centre which lots of children from Pieter-Steph’s farm attend, so it was very special for him to donate the funds to us!
Thank you Pieter-Steph du Toit! We are so grateful.

This POP Centre is run by Elzanne Bolsen who is such an amazing young women. She always goes the extra mile and recently walked 5 km’s to attend a meeting on Pieter-Steph’s farm Kloovenburg about working together at the POP Centre. She also works hard to raise funds for her Centre by selling chips.
Elzanne, we know you will put this R10 000 to good use to support the work of your Centre!
