This year, Goedgedacht has been working in rural communities for 25 years!
We had to celebrate this special milestone, but didn’t quite know what to do because our nine youth centres are spread out all over, from Riebeek to Prince Albert.
So we thought we would have a cake competition! Every youth centre, every charity shop and every support department had a cake and a party celebrating how far we have come. There was a wonderful atmosphere of gratitude and celebration on the farm for a week as the different groups had their parties.
It was amazing to see how creative the different teams were in designing their cakes! Watch this space to see who the winner is…
