Olive Tree Donation Gifts

There are those moments in life when we look for something out of the ordinary, a gift that says we really care, or we will never forget you, a legacy that will live on for generations to come.

By sponsoring an olive tree in the Goedgedacht Olive Peace Grove you can do just that.

It is a gift that just keeps on giving

Many donors have found this a very meaningful way of honouring someone on a special occasion such as a birthday, a wedding anniversary or an outstanding achievement. If you choose to dedicate it to a loved one who has died, your tree will grow as a living memory to him or her, and its fruits will continue to be a source of life for others.

The fruit from your olive tree will be processed and sold and the income will assist in keeping our Path Out of Poverty programme going for many years to come. We have close to 13 000 olive trees on 35 hectares of land and we hope to add your special tree to our expanding olive grove. Each tree has a special story to tell, and all are remembered on a dedication wall set in the heart of the olive grove.

Your donation covers the price of the tree and its nurturing for five years, until it becomes fruit bearing. It also includes the charge for scripting your dedication onto a metal plaque and placing it on our Dedication Wall.

Olive trees can grow for hundreds of years, in that time they will absorb carbon and help Mother Earth to adjust to the huge amounts of carbon we humans produce.

Please allow the farm a minimum of ten business working days from the point of receiving your donation for your tree to be planted, once planted we will send you the exact GPRS location of your tree. If a plaque is ordered, please allow an additional four weeks for the plaque to be received.

All tree donations are tax deductible and can be gift aided.
